The Opportunity
As our client continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Quantify and cost construction works.
- Complete quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Prepare project estimates, quantities, pricing and costings.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to manage risks and opportunities.
- Interpret detailed engineering drawings and translate them for tendering, procurement, resourcing, scheduling and risk identification.
- Analyse materials, products and work outputs for accuracy, quality and completeness.
- Review tender documentation and related information.
- Interpret specifications and standards to assess cost impacts.
- Support broader pre-contracts and business development activities.
- Engage confidently with clients while delivering high technical standards.
- A driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for achieving results.
- Experience in civil construction, ideally across multiple project types.
- Exposure to sectors such as Electricity, Oil & Gas, Rail, Water and Renewable Energy (highly regarded).
- Strong proficiency in estimating software.
- Experience with Expert Estimation & Bluebeam
