The Role We are seeking experienced electrical spotters to join our construction and civil teams across multiple active sites in Melbourne and surrounding areas.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe operations near overhead and underground electrical assets, maintaining no-go zone compliance, and supporting site crews with clear communication and vigilance.
Responsibilities
- Spot and monitor plant, machinery, and workers operating near live electrical infrastructure
- Maintain compliance with VicRoads and Energy Safe Victoria guidelines
- Assist operators with safe equipment placement and movement
- Set up and maintain safety signage, barricades, and exclusion zones
- Report hazards and incidents promptly to supervisors and site managers
- Current electrical spotter ticket (must be valid)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- CPR and First Aid
- Experience working near overhead powerlines or live services
- Reliable transport and PPE
- Safety-focused mindset and strong communication skills
- Immediate availability
- Immediate starts on quality projects
