My client, a recognised and respected commercial Electrical contractor have asked me to source them an experienced BIM Modeller.

Projects are varied and include hospitals, laboratories, mixed use commercial schemes, educational and more.

You’ll play a key role in producing and coordinating 3D electrical models and detailed drawings using Revit. You’ll collaborate closely with an in-house engineering team, site teams, and external consultants to ensure precision, clarity, and buildability in every design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage electrical BIM models using Revit.
  • Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to resolve clashes.
  • Produce detailed drawings for installation.
  • Maintain model accuracy and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the pre-construction and construction teams with queries.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proficient in Revit, with experience modelling electrical systems (lighting, containment, small power, etc.).
  • Experience working in a contracting or design environment.
  • Solid understanding of electrical standards and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience with Navisworks.
  • Understanding of BIM Level 2 standards and workflows.
  • On-site experience or knowledge of MEP coordination.
