I’m working with a well-known window manufacturer that’s looking for an experienced draftsperson to join their team. This is a great role for someone who understands window fabrication and can create accurate technical drawings.
The Role:
- Create shop drawings for custom window systems
- Read and interpret architectural plans
- Work with the production and sales teams to make sure designs are correct and ready to build
- Make changes to drawings as needed
- Follow industry standards and building codes
- Experience in drafting for window fabrication (aluminium, uPVC, or similar)
- Confident using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Good understanding of how windows are made and installed
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
