We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Development Manager / Investment Manager to support a growing property development business focused on acquiring and delivering large-scale development opportunities across Victoria.
This is a hands-on, deal-focused role suited to someone who can identify opportunities, assess risks early, structure acquisitions, and assist in project funding from inception through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure development sites, primarily superlots within key growth corridors
- Undertake detailed feasibility analysis and financial modelling using Estate Master and Excel
- Assess planning, servicing, infrastructure, and development risks at an early stage
- Manage due diligence processes and support site acquisition negotiations
- Assist in structuring and raising capital for development projects
- Engage with agents, vendors, consultants, lenders, and key stakeholders
- Monitor and report on pipeline opportunities, feasibility outcomes, deal progress, and project risks
- Support projects through acquisition, delivery, and funding phases
- Experience in property development, property finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Victoria’s planning environment and development process
- Ability to assess site yield, feasibility, and commercial viability
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, including Estate Master and Excel
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the industry
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
