- Victorian Tier 2 Group with a great portfolio of projects from $30m-$100m
- Three new projects commencing in the front half of 2026 including $80m commercial build, $50m aged care project and $30m industrial/retail development – seeking two new CA professionals to join the team.
- Multiple career options available – Contracts Manager on their larger projects or Project Manager career path available.
THE ROLE
- Intermediate to Senior CA roles with strong commercial building experience – administration of head contract and subcontract agreements required
- The roles available include
- #1 - leading all CA functions on a project to $50m with support from a junior CA/PC as well as being
- #2 – being a 2iC on one of the their larger $50m+ projects, reporting to a Contracts Manager
- Site based roles on upcoming projects in the west, CBD or inner east.
THE DUTIES
- Administer Contracts (Head / Subcontracts)
- Setup & maintain Project Letting Schedule
- Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes and schedules
- Accurate review & evaluation of subcontract Tenders
- Manage progress claim assistance and external variations
- Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
- Administer RFI’s to architects, consultants and clients
- Support the Project Manager and/or Contracts Manager in meeting all project requirements
YOUR BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management. Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Experience gained working with a head contractor within the commerial construction sector in Australia
- Demonstrated experience in managing a range of commercial subcontract packages from socping/letting through to final account
- Excellent knowledge of Australian building codes and buildability
- Strong financial reporting skills
