- An refurb and fitout specialist –hospitality, retail and bespoke projects – many for repeat clients.
- Office based role in the eastern suburbs, 5 mins from Eastlink
- Clear path to PM within the business if desired
- Project set up; preparing all site & OHS documents, oversee landlord contractor onboarding processes, and ensure all SWMS and inductions are in place
- Assist with project schedules, including monitoring and reporting weekly updates on each project via the PM portal
- Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes and schedules
- Manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
- Assist the PM with managing and following up RFI;s, shop drawing reviews and site instructions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, designers and trades on site and tracking and administering variations
- Collect and collate all documentation for Certificate of Final Inspection and Occupancy Permits
- Assist in Defect Management process
- Support the Project Manager in meeting any other project requirements
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or equivalent is essential
- Demonstrated experience gained over a couple of years as a PC or CA role within the commercial building sector with an interest in working on high end fitout works.
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills – you will be dealing with subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders daily
- Experience in using construction industry specific software, ideally Procore
