With a substantial pipeline of secured work, the company is preparing to deliver several major State Government projects over the next 3–4 years, creating an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team and play a key role in shaping Brisbane's future skyline and infrastructure.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- 5–8+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry
- Exposure to health, institutional and/or industrial construction projects
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management is a must!
- Strong commercial acumen and contract administration skills
- The ability to work effectively within large project and construction teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Prepare, issue and manage subcontract packages
- Assess and process subcontractor progress claims
- Manage variations, extensions of time and contractual correspondence
- Assist with procurement and tender evaluation processes
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly cost forecasts and cash flow reports
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Support project managers with contractual and commercial advice
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
