Join a Trusted Team Working on Commercial Contracts Across Melbourne
We are currently seeking a Qualified and Registered Maintenance Plumber to join our client’s experienced team based in North Melbourne. Specialising in commercial plumbing for aged care, education, and retail environments, this full-time role offers long-term security and variety – with no residential work involved.
The company is known for delivering high-quality outcomes in live and operational environments, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and workmanship.
Pay & Benefits:
- $45–$50 per hour, based on experience and credentials
- Company vehicle supplied
- Full-time role with consistent, long-term commercial contracts
- Work with a supportive and skilled team
- General sanitary plumbing – water, gas, and sewer
- Civil works – stormwater and sewer pits, drainage, tanks, and pump wells
- Roofing – repairs, replacements, guttering, and flashings
- Work primarily on refurbishments in live/active commercial environments
- Procure materials and equipment as needed
- Interpret plans, specifications, and provide practical on-site solutions
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, other trades, site teams, and clients
- Qualified and VBA Registered Plumber (ideally 3+ years post-qualification)
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Strong skills across general plumbing, civil works, and roofing
- Ability to gain Working With Children Check and Police Check (mandatory)
- Additional certifications such as EWP, TMV, and backflow are highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Valid driver’s licence
