Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing a safe work environment in alignment with safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Ensuring adherence to environmental policies, requirements, and objectives by employees and subcontractors..
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitoring the performance of construction teams and subcontractors, tracking progress against schedules and cost estimates.
- Addressing and mitigating any performance-related issues.
- Reporting production costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Managing procurement of plant, equipment, and materials.
- Developing, reviewing, and approving Management Plans and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Site Supervisor in subdivisions, bulk earthworks.s.
- Proven expertise in earthworks, road construction, pavement, structures, and civil infrastructure.
- Experience working with local councils and service authorities.
- Strong resource management skills, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Effective leadership and guidance of construction teams.
- Experience in conducting start-ups, toolbox talks, site inductions, and verifying certifications.
- Ability to mitigate and report incidents effectively.
- Familiarity with DBYD, PMPs, SWMS, and MSDs and ensuring compliance.
