THE ROLE
- Taking measurements and calculating levels
- Assisting subcontractors – concreting pits, drainage, stormwater, etc
- Digging trenches and installing electrical & NBN conduits
- Operating machines – Roller, Loader, Moxy & more **must have ticket
- Site setup and clean up – fencing, flagging, moving materials
- Spotting and working around machines
THE PAY & BENEFITS
- $34 – 36 p/h – rate will depend on experience
- $21.94 p/d travel allowance
- $18.51 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
- Penalty rates for all overtime worked – regular overtime worked, 55hrs+ with no rain
- FREE PPE – Premium gear including Boots & Jacket
- Long term, consistent work with same employer on the same job site
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- White card
- Australian Driver’s License and own transport
- Previous civil labouring experience preferred although all people will be considered
- Able to pass D&A testing
- Plant and machine tickets **desirable
