Fetch Recruitment is seeking motivated and dependable Civil Labourers to join long-term civil construction projects throughout Adelaide's northern suburbs.
Our clients have secured multiple new stages of work, creating immediate opportunities for labourers looking for consistent hours and long-term employment. You'll be involved in a variety of civil construction projects including subdivisions, roadworks, drainage, pipelines and landscaping.
Your Responsibilities
- General civil labouring including trenching, site preparation and manual tasks
- Assisting with set out, measurements and levels
- Supporting concreting, drainage, pipe laying and landscaping crews
- Operating plant and equipment where appropriately ticketed (Roller, Loader, Moxy and other machinery)
- Site establishment, fencing, traffic management support and material handling
- Spotting machinery and maintaining a safe work environment
- $38.74 - $40.99 per hour (depending on experience and machinery tickets)
- $22.41 per day travel allowance
- $19.74 per day meal allowance (after 9.5 hours worked)
- Penalty rates paid on all overtime
- Ongoing work with consistent weekly hours
- Temp-to-perm opportunities, with reviews at 3 and 6 months
- Opportunity to upskill and obtain additional plant tickets including Roller, Loader, Skid Steer, Moxy and Excavator
- Current White Card
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Previous experience in civil construction or labouring
- Plant and machinery tickets are highly desirable
- Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
- Reliable, safety-focused and eager to be part of a productive crew
