Fetch Recruitment has partnered with a leading rectification builder looking for 4–6 Leading Hand Carpenters and Carpenters. With consistent work available through to Christmas, you'll help close out a number of projects.
Working in a team of two, you'll be tasked with start-to-finish rectification work on balconies and bathroom renovations.
Strong problem-solving skills are a must, as you'll be responsible for identifying areas of water damage post-demolition, replacing damaged structural elements and sealing projects up watertight.
If you enjoy a challenge, working to deadlines and a variety of work, this is the job for you.
Main Duties Include:
- Small demolition works (a labourer is generally available on-site to assist)
- Reviewing the scope of works provided by the builder and planning the day
- Liaising with the builder should any further faults arise
- New framing when required
- Lock-up – ensuring the project is watertight
- Cladding
- Fixing – skirting boards and architraves

- Shift times: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

North-Eastern to South-Eastern and Bayside suburbs, including:
- Blackburn
- Preston
- Sandringham
- Brighton
- Carrum Downs
What You Will Need:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience
- Familiarity with restoration work, or the ability to pick it up quickly
- Strong time management skills and the ability to understand scopes of work
- A keen eye for detail, including the work that isn't seen
- The ability to adapt should further issues arise outside the scope of works
- Availability to work full-time hours
