About the Builder
Our client is a residential custom and luxury home builder, delivering high end builds across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with a strong pipeline of exciting new builds, renovations and extensions.
Our builder values team players who can add to an already well balanced, strong carpentry team that continuously delivers projects to a high standard and on time.
Salary:
Full time position on wages - Sick leave & annual leave
$45-55 an hour, plus superannuation (depending on experience)
Major Upcoming Projects:
Palm Beach: $2.2m - Architectural new build
Sheldon: Renovation & unit development
Many: $4m - Duplex
What You’ll Do
- Hands-on carpentry across all stages – framing, lock up and fix
- Read and interpret plans and custom detailing
- Experience in pre site demolition and site set outs desirable
- Set out, mark and build stick build frames and install prefab frames from time to time
- Install interior & exterior feature timber lining and feature cladding boards
- Review plans for heights to allow for the installation of custom made windows and doors
- Fix work involving: architraves, skirting, door handles and flooring
- Hard landscaping: Decks, pergolas and retaining walls
What You’ll Need
- Cert III in Carpentry
- Strong finishing skills and ability to interpret detail drawings
- A enthusiastic attitude towards your work - You'll be joining a great team environment, who are all willing to pass on building knowledge
- White Card, own tools, and reliable transport
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients, architects & trades
- Confident speaking with clients when visiting sites unannounced
