The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join a growing team. You’ll play a key role on-site, working closely with the Site Manager to ensure top-quality finishes, keep trades accountable, and drive daily site progress across custom builds. As the carpenter, you’ll need to be willing to adapt to late minute changes to plans and still deliver projects on time and to a high standard. You will have proven experience being able to work at speed whilst maintaining a high quality finish.
What You’ll Do
- Hands-on carpentry across all stages – framing to detailed finish
- Support delivery across 1-2 active high-end projects
- Read and interpret architectural plans and custom detailing
- Experience in pre site demolition and site set outs desirable
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and apprentices
- Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and build quality
- Act as the go-to person when the Site Manager is off-site
- Be able to adapt to working in a team and on your own at times
- Cert III in Carpentry + minimum 3 years on high-end builds
- Strong finishing skills and ability to interpret detail drawings
- Proven leadership of small teams or as a leading hand
- White Card, own tools, and reliable transport
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients, architects & trades
- Confident speaking with clients when visiting sites unannounced
