Fetch Recruitment are looking for lock-up and fix carpenter for the final fit-out stages of commercial projects. This includes installing doors, windows, frames, internal partitions, ceilings, and other essential finishing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing door frames, windows, and locks during the lock-up phase.
- Ensuring all timber elements, doors, windows, and locks meet the required safety and functionality standards.
- Working closely with other trades to ensure smooth transitions between different stages of construction.
- Handling and installing specialized fixtures and fittings.
- Ensuring all materials are installed according to design and specification.
- Conducting site inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them.
- Proven experience in lock-up and fix carpentry, particularly on commercial projects.
- Strong experience with both carpentry and finishing work.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience with lock-up and fix phases of large-scale commercial projects.
- Problem-solving skills, especially with respect to on-site challenges.
- Ongoing work on high end projects
- Some projects offering overtime
- A range of fit out, maintenance and modular work available
- Ability to move you to a new project when the job is finished
