The client specialises in high-end residential projects, creating custom kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, built-in furniture and detailed architectural joinery.
The Role:You’ll be responsible for taking joinery from drawings through to a quality finished product.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Reading architectural and shop drawings
- Measuring, cutting and assembling cabinetry
- Manufacturing custom and detailed joinery
- Working with timber, veneer, laminate and other premium materials
- Fitting hinges, runners and specialist hardware
- Building kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and feature joinery
- Assisting with installation and site work
- Quality checking your own work
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker
- Strong residential or architectural joinery experience
- Confident reading drawings and working to specifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction and hardware
- Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised and proud of your workmanship
