As a client side project manager, you will oversee the entire process from concept to delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing stakeholders, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and coordinating with architects, builders, and engineering disciplines. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a construction or engineering related field 

  • 5-15 years of experience 

  • Ideally previous experience with Tier 1 or 2 builders as a Contract Administrator, Project Manager, or Project Engineer 

  • Preferably managed projects exceeding $20M in portfolio value in sectors such as apartments, commercial, hotels, schools, health, and residential apartments  

  • Local Victorian market knowledge 

  • Exposure to project management practices 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Providing leadership and technical expertise to clients. 

  • Managing client relationships and offering advisory services. 

  • Overseeing external consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction phases to meet time, budget, and quality expectations. 

  • Handling procurement, contract, and financial management aspects. 

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and governmental bodies to offer comprehensive project management solutions. 

  • Lead and strategize the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget parameters. 

  • Formulate and execute project governance, establishing optimal procurement models and innovative approaches for complex projects. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by integrating lessons learned from post-occupancy evaluations. 

  • Ensure robust team formation and alignment for effective collaboration and streamlined project execution.
