About the Business
My client is a well-renowned volume builder located in the CBD. They are an extremely team and family oriented company who will welcome you into the business with open arms. Due to stable growth, they are looking for an experienced person with a sales estimating background to join the team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Prepare and document accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations, and re-tenders
• Calculate fixed site costs and quantities, maintaining inventories for standard options
• Liaising with and managing enquiries from internal and external stakeholders such as Sales, Gallery, Operations and Suppliers, Trades and Construction
• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Interpret civil and structural engineering plans to derive accurate site costs
• Provide cost estimates on changes to a dwelling to assist sales
• Complete set tasks and achieve job targets within designated time frames
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations

To be Considered

• A minimum of 2 years experience as an Estimator with a volume home builder in VIC
• Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
• Thorough work ethic and a knack for multitasking
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Must have permanent work rights
• Liaising with offshore contractors would be highly favourable
