Safety Advisor | Commercial Construction

Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak to Safety Advisors within Melbourne for a fantastic Tier 3 Commercial builder.

The Company:

• Tier 3 Commercial/Residential builder, delivering projects up to $30m.

• Over 25 years within the Melbourne market, with a huge pipeline of work.

• Successfully delivered multiple projects including Townhouses, Commercial, High end residential and Fit out.

The Role:

• Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.

• Having responsibility of supervising up to 150 on site staff at one time and maintain a high level of safety conditions.

• Hybrid role – You will be expected to cover anywhere up to 3 sites at any given time.

• Directly report to/collaboratively work alongside the company HSEQ to plan ongoing OH&S requirements.

• Review sub-contractor SWMS.

• Conduct on site safety audits.

• Quality control and rectification

• Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s

Must have:

• 3 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role

• Experience working on projects valuing over $25m.

• Minimum of Certificate IV in OHS/WHS.

• MUST HAVE experience within the Commercial construction industry.
