The Role:
Working alongside the Architectural Director, you will manage various government projects from the conceptual design phase through to completion of the project. You will be responsible for running the operations of the project and overseeing construction during the project lifestyle.
Reporting to the Architectural Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Design and draft building plans for residential, commercial, resort, education and health sectors
- Running complex, sustainable government infrastructure or commercial projects
- Lead teams of engineers and contractors whilst meeting directly with clients to develop and execute large scale projects according to schedule and budgets
- Manage construction projects from the conceptual design phase through completion
- Consult directly with clients in order to determine the project scope, client specifications and design elements
- Review site planning and development to ensure projects are complying with environmental and safety standards
To Be Considered
To be considered for this unique opportunity, you'll ideally have the following;
- High proficiency in REVIT
- Excellent understanding of building process, materials, detailing and sustainable systems
- Experience with AutoCAD would be a distinct advantage
- Creative problem solving through design thinking
- Ability to successfully run projects and manage project teams effectively
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal project team, clients, builder, and stakeholders
