Maintenance Fitter - Afternoon Shift - Manufacturing

Fetch Recruitment is currently seeking skilled Maintenance Fitters to represent us at a leading food manufacturer in Dandenong

• Afternoon shift loading on top of hourly rate

Responsibilities:

• Respond to breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment during shift.

• Troubleshoot and perform corrective actions where necessary.

• Conduct repairs and modifications to all plant and equipment as required.

• Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and loss of production.

Requirements:

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter with a minimum of 3 years’ experience

• Demonstrated experience in preventative and reactive maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and gearboxes

• PLC fault finding and machine timing exepriecne

• Knowledge of high speed machinery and complex conveyors is favourable
