Fetch Recruitment is currently seeking skilled Night Shift Maintenance Fitters to represent us at one of Australia’s leading food manufacturing facilities.
Live roles:
Night Shift Maintenance Fitter – Tullamarine
Night Shift Maintenance Fitter - Geelong
Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter – Dandenong South
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all equipment during the night shift.
Troubleshoot and diagnose any mechanical issues that arise.
Implement corrective actions where necessary.
Conduct repairs and modifications to all plant and equipment as required.
Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and loss of production.
Requirements:
Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (preferably within the food industry)
Demonstrated experience in preventative and reactive maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and gearboxes
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
The Role:
This is an ongoing casual role with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.
