The Builder:
  • Delivering construction projects across commercial, retail, childcare, government and fit out work across Melbourne.
  • The opportunity to work with a market leading Tier 3 fit out commercial builder with a decade worth of industry exposure.
  • Projects varying in size, valuing up to $10m.

The Role:
  • Full time Health & Safety Rep.
  • Projects predominately based in the Western Suburbs; you will be expected to cover up to 3 projects at any given week.
  • Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
  • Work with the other management to coordinate and plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS.
  • Conduct on site safety audits.
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/sBeing the extra hands-on site when available, you will be expected to pick up basic labouring duties when required.

Must have:
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
  • Valid AUS driving license.
  • Minimum of Certificate III in OHS
  • Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols
