My client, a leading national award-winning design firm and are looking for an experienced ArchiCAD BIM Manager to join the team to work on a prestigious large-scale project.
This is your chance to embed yourself in a once in a lifetime project and work closely with the senior members of the team by being the knowledge bank of all things ArchiCAD while overseeing the large-scale complex model and its management across the production team.

- Attractive salary package $120,000 - $150,000 + super (expereince dependant)
- Degree qualified in architecture.
- min 5 years in similar role and min 10 years using ArchiCAD
- Project experience working on large complex projects and BIM models.
- Excellent technical design, construction detailing and documentation skills
- Experience with clash detection and model checking software like Navisworks, Solibri
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent understanding of BCA and relevant construction based Australian Standards and Building Codes
- Sound ability with graphic presentations software and rending software – Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work within multi-disciplinary team.
Reporting straight to the senior staff, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Working closely with the other BIM Manager and project teams to assist with standards and general best practices
- Coordinate and review all 3D models and model-related tasks with consultants and contractors
- Oversee general model health and function
- Perform regular ArchiCAD model review, maintenance and audits within the platform.
- Perform any major tasks related to the models.
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks or similar
- Management of and adherence to the Quality Assurance standards of the office
- Assisting in the training and tutoring of all staff, including Principals and Associates, on BIM systems
- Assist in the management of BIM processes, libraries, content, software and components
- Ensure development of BIM drawings and the teams’ work is complete and delivered within set and agreed programmes and quality
- Contribute to improved work methods and procedures as a means toward greater efficiency by automating routines and maintaining standards for increased productivity
- Link BIM to project construction administration phase for transmittals, construction models, shop drawings and schedules
