Welder/Boilermaker

Fetch’s client is a leading civil construction company who are seeking a qualified boilermaker/welder to join their team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will have a strong welding background and be able to work with a variety of materials such as mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Operating manual and automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.

• Performing welding procedures in accordance with industry standards

• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and compliance.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Cert III in fabrication (or above)

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience

• 2 valid references for previous employers

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
