On behalf on a public sector organisation in Melbourne's south east, Fetch is recruiting a Team Leader- Planning.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Project manage and act as the leader for growth area planning applications
- Lead a team of 4 planners
- Provide expert oversight, influence, leadership and mentoring of other staff
- Provide day to day advice, guidance and direction to staff
- Prepare planning assessment documentation and reports
- Prepare appeal and panel submissions
- Act as a point of coordination and advice for stakeholders on all aspect of the organisations planning and development approval processes.
- Maintain a pro-active interest in professional development activities and encourage the team to participate in development opportunities.
Skills required
- Extensive, senior experience in growth area or major projects planning, as a Town Planner or statutory planner as relevant to the role
- A sound knowledge of budgeting and relevant accounting and financial procedures is essential
- Degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Urban Studies or Urban Geography.
- Current Australian Driver's License
