Estimator / Structural Sub Contractor

Established over 10 years ago holding a strong reputation within the structures industry, concrete being their passion. Partnered relationships offering full structural packages between 3-15 Million throughout Melbourne with works set for the year ahead.

Delivering mid- high-rise apartments, basements, repair and commercial projects we are seeking an experienced estimator with a proven background within the structures - concrete industry to join the lively team here in Inner Melbourne.

This business offers structural packages, PT, Design, Concrete formwork just to name a few services with various business units specialising across residential & commercial projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparation and administration of project estimates and tenders ensuring accuracy and timeliness of completion
• Developing strong client business relationships working closely with subcontractors & contractors
• Assessing, measuring and completing take offs from drawings / blueprints.
• Subcontractor management including compiling scope of works, tender packages, negotiating contract prices and conditions, reviewing contractor quotes and preparing final contract documents

Personal Attributes

• You will hold a minimum of 10+ years consecutive estimating experience with a clear understanding for tenders, quoting and client liaising
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously

• Excellent organisation and time management skills with strong commercial awareness
• Highly proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Excel, EstimateOne, Auto Cad
• Client focused & skill to develop & maintain relationships
