Job description
There is an industrial warehouse boom and I've partnered with a client to seek out a Senior Structural Engineer to collaborate with the team, the clients and other stakeholders to deliver multiple projects and see it all come to life! My client is an Australian engineering consultancy who are gaining momentum in their project pipelines this year and beyond.
Based in North Victoria, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position and can be readily available immediately.

Based in North Victoria, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position and can be readily available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Lead structural engineering projects, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, managing the engineers, building draftees and contractors.
- Review designs, analyse project requirements and specifications to determine project scope, feasibility & time frame.
- Ensure buildings comply with building codes & industry standards.
- Manage project risk and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Mentor & train junior team members as everybody helps out to achieve the business objectives.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years experience overseeing buildings projects pre, current & post construction
- High working proficiency in both SpaceGass & Revit
- Professional Engineering recognition ideal
- Strong technical skills in structural engineering, design and analysis
- Exposure to reinforced concrete design with post tension slabs
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with building codes & standards
