We have partnered with a great water engineering consultancy to work on exciting projects that literally provide & sustain life to the community. Located in a central South-East location, my client are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to work collaboratively with the team on a variety of projects with some of the largest Water authorities in Australia. They are an Australian owned consultancy who are leaders in the water industry with rapid growth in the market.
About the role:
My client are looking for an intermediate or senior level civil engineer with water industry design experience to join other likeminded professionals to provide technical solutions and delivering projects that ultimately keeps the State thriving.
The successful applicant will have a keen interest in water engineering, project management and the passion to build client relationships with the eagarness to develop themselves further. You will be supported by a strong team of engineers and work with clients who are just as capable in managing the workload as they deliver the one element that keeps all of us going - water.
Your day to day:
• Working with the team through the project life cycle on range of vital water infrastructure, including treatment plants, storages, pipelines and pump stations.
• Developing solutions with the client, developing technical designs, preparing design documentation and adhearing to their needs.
• Working with several construction partners and other stakeholders
• Justifying technical drawings in 2D and 3D to client specifications, digital engineering drawings and adhearing to statutory regulations.
• Opportunity to provide your own inputs, developed through your wide array of experience within water infrastructure.
What you will need to be considered:
• Tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Come from ideally a consultancy background.
• Experience working in the water industry.
• Ability to undertake civil design and work effectively across disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently to budgeted hours and timeframes.
