Your New Role

• Civil design and documentation for a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects including roads and freeways, drainage, earthworks
• Geometrical, horizontal and vertical alignments 2D/3D modelling
• Putting together fee proposals and assisting in tenders to win work
• Project management – deliverables, financials
• Client management – attending meetings
• Liaising with local authorities – VicRoads, councils, water authorities
• Leadership, mentoring and work allocation for 3 engineers and 2 draftees

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Experienced working for an Australian consultancy in a design role on road and highway projects ideally to Austroads and VicRoads Standards

• Strong experience in design management using 12D and Bentley packages, MX, Inroads, OpenRoads or similar
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering – (Civil) or equivalent
• Broad exposure in D&C projects at various phases of a project
• Financial acumen – Managing budgets, cost control, fee proposals
