Job Title: Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer - Road Infrastructure
Company: A leading tier 2 contractor in road infrastructure projects
Location: Northern Victoria, between Bendigo and Echuca
Salary: $120,000 to $180,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer to join our team and manage road infrastructure projects valued between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of these projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and oversee the entire project life cycle from pre-construction to closeout
Coordinate and manage project teams, including subcontractors and consultants
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met and report progress to senior management
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and cost estimates
Manage project risks, issues and change management
Ensure project compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management or senior project engineering roles
Experience managing road infrastructure projects valued between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management or related field
PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage
