Job description
My client is a Tier 3 commercial Fit Out company and is looking for a Junior Contracts Administrator to join their team, this role is based solely within their Wantirna South Head Office.
My client is a well know builder who completes a wide range of different projects within the fit-out sector, projects ranging from $200k - $20m.

Working alongside other CA’s / PM’s to complete:
- Negotiation of subcontract packages & subcontract administration
- Interrogate progress claims, contractual claims and variations.
- Ensuring effective commercial and risk management procedures
- Ensure accurate weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting of project costs.
- Preparing, compiling and submission of variation orders & contractual notices
- Preparing head contract deliverables
- Liaising and effectively communicating with consultants, subcontractors and all stakeholders.
- Undertake general office admin responsibilities.
- Ideally have 1 years’ experience working within Fit-out/Refurb projects.
- MUST HAVE commercial construction experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of contract law and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with contract management software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
