The Builder:
  • Design and Construct builder with exceptional projects within commercial, industrial and retail.
  • The opportunity to work with a market leading Tier 3 fit out commercial builder with over 12 years industry exposure.
  • Projects varying in size, valuing anywhere between $5-$20m.
  • Head office based near Chadstone, majority of projects to be carried out within Southeast Melbourne.
The Role:
  • Full time Health & Safety Rep.
  • Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
  • Work with the other management to coordinate and plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS.
  • Conduct on site safety audits.
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
  • Being the extra hands-on site when available, you will be expected to pick up basic labouring duties when required.
  • Utilising other on-site tickets including EWP, Traffic management, forklift etc.Utilising other on-site tickets including EWP, Traffic management, forklift etc.
Must have:
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
  • Valid AUS driving license + Car access.
  • Minimum of Certificate III in OHS
  • Experience working within commercial construction.
  • Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols.
