Experienced Leading Hand/Foreman Wanted for Residential & Industrial Projects - Melbourne

Our client, a leading construction company specializing in residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects, is seeking a motivated and skilled Leading Hand/Foreman to join their team and work hands-on in the development of new residential and industrial subdivisions in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Work hands-on with a team of tradespeople to complete construction activities at the site, specifically on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

  • Assist the Foreman/Supervisor with day-to-day site operations

  • Maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans for residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project runs smoothly

  • Ensure quality control and manage any site issues that may arise

  • Attend regular site meetings and provide progress updates to management on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, specifically on residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

  • Proven track record in hands-on construction work, specifically in residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Good knowledge of construction practices and regulations specific to residential and industrial subdivisions, car parks, minor road intersections, and various other civil projects

  • Relevant trade qualifications or engineering degree (desirable)

  • Ability to pass a police check and drug and alcohol test
