- Degree qualified in architecture.
- min 4 years of post-grad experience – ideally high-end residential
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work within multi-disciplinary team.
- Enscape knowledge is preferential.
- Ability to set up project using 3D survey models.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards and applicable legislations (LEP, DCP, SEPP65 etc.)
- Ability to prepare site analysis to identify opportunities and constraints on site.
- Communication skill to collaborate with clients, DA consultants, and stakeholders.
- Experience with DA lodgments.
- Preparing the architectural drawing package for DA submission and Section 4.55 Modification.
- Reviewing designs with relevant standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
Reporting straight to the senior staff, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Design and documentation in Revit.
- Assist in the production and progressing of project documentation through all relevant stages.
- Obtain brief and preliminary site info from client in initial meeting alongside the team.
- Work with the team to create an architectural design through the exercise of knowledge, imagination, judgement, and professional responsibility, working independently and in collaboration with others.
- Coordinate all design concepts with project consultant teams.
- Design with sustainability in mind with regards to building form, orientation, materials, and systems
