Now is your opportunity to join a premium steel fabricator and structural product supplier in the Victorian civil & commercial market.

You will be joining a reputable family run business operating across Melbourne's Major projects delivering across Tier 1 infrastructure and commercial developments. Delivering 'Full Steel Packages' for larger scale projects up to $3M, located on Melbourne Southeast!

In the detailing department you will be welcomed to a team that is seeing significant growth, the opportunity to join as a senior draftsperson or intermediate is up to you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan reading; engineering and architectural documentation.
• Production of steel workshop drawings
• Clear & professional communications with key clients and customers
• Interaction with a variety of stakeholders, including co-ordination
• QA checking of steel workshop drawings.
• The successful applicant for this role will be a team player, that is ready for the next step in their career and able to add value to our team.

Personal Attributes

• Proficiency with TEKLA, Microsoft programming
• 3+ years' experience within the structures market, preferably steel
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing and fabrication
• Qualification and experience in details role with consultancy or contractor in construction or related industry
• The ability to comfortably hit the ground running, involved in decision making around processes and software integrations is highly desired.

Successful applications will hold previous experience within structural drafting & detailing, with a minimum of 3+ years Australian experience required.
