About the Company
Located in the South East, my client is a major player in the Melbourne Insurance industry. They operate across the eastern states of Australia and are fast becoming a force to reckon with due to their consistent successes. Due to the cyclical nature of this industry, they are currently seeking an Assessor/Insurance Estimator to join the team and help with the upcoming workload. This is a permanent opportunity with long term progression.

About the Role
This role is suited to someone that has had exposure to on-site building or trades as well as possessing strong computer skills. Duties include;

• Over the phone customer service for insurance claims
• Conducting investigations, diagnosing and reporting on building damage, faults, maintenance and repairs
• Managing claims until settlement under the guidance of our experienced managers
• Updating databases in line with processing claims

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Onsite experience in building repairs or trade background
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Proactive and solution focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous knowledge of the building insurance market
