Bridge Maintenance Engineer

Irrespective of the current climate, this firm is still growing. Due to the soon to be announce project success, this firm is expecting to be busier than ever. They're set to be awarded a significant road project in the coming weeks and are on the front foot when it comes to hiring.

This is a national engineering consultancy with a focus on technical solutions and finding the right outcomes for their clients. With offices across the country there is also plenty of opportunity to work on projects in different states remotely from Melbourne.

Due to the success of the aforementioned project, there will be a lot of bridge design and remediation work to come. The key function of this role will be;

• to be heavily involved in the design of both new and existing bridge structures
• Site inspections and remediation examinations
• Managing your own packages of work and reporting directly into the clients and stakeholders

We're ideally looking to speak to a Bridge Engineer who boasts the following;

• Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering

• Experience in bridge design on both new and existing structures
• Experience working on VicRoads/MRVP projects
• Exposure to D&C style projects would be heavily advantageous
• VicRoads bridge assessment level 2 or greater accreditations
• Excellent communication skills to be able to manage client expectations
