Tell us a bit about your career to date and how you got into Recruitment. I was in the building industry for 10 years doing carpentry, when I moved to Melbourne from Christchurch, New Zealand. Max (Fetch’s carpentry consultant) was a friend from my hometown, so I reached out to him for carpentry work in Australia. After a few discussions, I begun to develop and interest in Recruitment. From there Max put me in touch with Dan and after some interviews, I took the leap and moved to Melbourne to start work here.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Fetch? The people! Awesome team vibes.
What’s one thing you wish people knew about recruitment and your industry? Recruitment: Us consultants are here to help! We always want the best possible outcome for the candidate. Civil Trades: The civil construction space is large and full of opportunities, with so many entry level opportunities, it can be a real steppingstone into a successful career.
#1 career highlight to date? Winning the Fetch award for upholding the businesses core values: honesty, respect, drive, and passion.
