Name: Luke Grakovich
Position: Recruitment Specialist
Time in role: 11 months
Throughout my career I have taken on a number of interesting roles, working in many challenging environments across different industries. One common thread through these different roles was my passion for working with people. I wanted to get into recruitment because you get to help people take the next step in their career as well as assist them with aligning themselves with the right opportunity. I did my research and the diverse nature of the responsibilities in a 360 degree role was particularly interesting to me.
My favourite thing about working at Fetch is definitely the people I work with on a daily basis. Recruitment is a very rewarding role but it’s also a challenging and fast paced one! The people I work with here in the office make it such a fun environment and we all support and help each other.
I feel that some people have the wrong idea about recruiters. Now I can’t speak for every recruiter, but I truly believe that most people join recruitment because they love working with people and genuinely want to help people find great career opportunities. We also want to partner with businesses to help them get access to this talent. It’s a mutual win-win situation and working openly and collaboratively with an agency is the best way forward.
When I received the Fetch Award – as voted by the team for representing Fetch’s values.
Do you the best you can, be the best you can and don’t sweat the small stuff.
