About the Role:

Fetch is partnering with a leading civil construction company that is looking for surveyors to work on a range of projects, including state government roads, subdivisions, and major infrastructure developments. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with set-outs, as-constructed, and conformance surveys while working closely with project managers and construction teams. You’ll get to work with cutting-edge surveying technology like Total Stations, GPS, and machine guidance, helping to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct set-outs and as-constructed surveys for various developments.
  • Undertake feature and level surveys as per project requirements.
  • Operate Total Stations, GPS, and other advanced survey equipment.
  • Liaise with foremen and project managers to resolve design conflicts.
  • Provide technical support for GPS-guided plant equipment.
  • Maintain digital data and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on survey set-outs and data management.
  • Ensure all surveying tasks meet quality and accuracy standards.
 

 

Attributes and Skills Required:

  • Relevant qualifications in Surveying, Spatial Science, or Geomatics.
  • Experience in subdivision and land development projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Total Stations, GPS, and machine guidance technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
