This role is a minimum 3-month contract with a strong possibility of moving into a permanent position.
The Role:
- Head office-based safety systems coordinator, collaborating directly with the operations manager.
- Develop and maintain safety management systems to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate incident reporting, investigation, and analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications across different work areas and activities.
- Maintain safety documentation and records such as training logs, inspection reports, and incident registers.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence, facilitating inspections, and addressing non-conformances.
- Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s.
- Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week.
Must have:
- Strong IT technical skills.
- Ideally a Certificate in OHS/WHS.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
- Excellent communication.
