About the Role: You will be responsible for managing construction projects from planning through to handover, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget. The current project is a $15M mixed-use development, comprising high-end apartments built over a supermarket based in the Eastern Suburbs. You’ll be working alongside a highly regarded and experienced Site Manager, making this an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a strong on-site leader. The role requires confident leadership, clear communication, and a deep understanding of construction methodology and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of project delivery, from pre-construction through to final completion
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Monitor budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues proactively
- Provide consistent reporting and updates to senior management
Ideal Candidate:
- Min 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, OH&S, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
- Excellent planning, budgeting, and risk management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in construction management or a related discipline
