Job Title: Estimator for Gas/Water Utilities
Job Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced estimator to join our team. The Estimator for Gas/Water Utilities will be responsible for analyzing and estimating the cost of projects related to gas and water utility systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the construction industry and the ability to provide accurate cost estimates for new and existing projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements, including scope, timelines, and resources required

• Estimate the cost of labor, materials, and equipment required for projects

• Prepare and submit accurate bids and proposals to clients

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to ensure that all requirements are understood

• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes for materials and services

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required

• Keep abreast of changes in the construction industry, including new technologies and materials, and adjust estimates accordingly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating for gas and water utilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of estimating software and tools

• Knowledge of construction codes and regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
