Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Carpenter to undertake minor commercial projects within aged care facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial settings, possess a strong understanding of safety protocols, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to the comfort and well-being of elderly residents.

Responsibilities:

• Execute carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of fixtures, furniture, and structural components in aged care facilities.

• Collaborate with facility managers and project leads to plan and schedule projects according to resident needs and facility requirements.

• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.

• Safeguard the well-being of residents and staff by maintaining a clean, organized work environment and adhering to safety protocols.

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.

Qualifications and requierments:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in commercial or institutional settings.

• Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials used in construction and renovation projects.

• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to carpentry work.

• 2 Covid vaccinations and annual flue shot 

• Compassionate attitude and respect for the needs and preferences of elderly individuals.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
