Tell us a bit about your career to date and how you got into Recruitment.
I started an apprenticeship as an Electrician in Ireland in 2015, I became qualified 4 years later on a Friday in September and I was in Australia the following Wednesday! I’ve worked a couple of different construction jobs in Ireland and Australia in five different states. I’ve been working in construction for almost 10 years, so I wanted a change of scenery and wasn’t sure exactly what. Having worked for Fetch in the past, I received their newsletter and saw they might be looking for recruiters. I gave the office a call and somehow managed to get a job.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Fetch?
The vibe within the office is great! Everybody gets along and always tries to help each other out where they can.
What’s one thing you wish people knew about recruitment or your industry?
Contract Administrators (unfortunately) don’t grow on trees.
