About the business

Operating for over 30 years' our client has a proven track record of delivering on multiple high-profile projects in Victoria. They are known in the industry as having a great company culture, with many of the senior staff members having worked up from labouring and plant operator positions. With a strong emphasis on training and development they ensure that you are given every opportunity to succeed. This is initially a casual position that will turn full-time after the probation period. Our client has just signed a 5 year construction contract so there is a huge pipeline of work.

About the role

• Driving Truck and Trailer between projects in Metro Melbourne
• Conducting pre-starts to ensure trucks are driven safely
• General maintenance and upkeep of vehicle
• Completing and delivering required documentation as efficiently as possible

Skills and experience

• HC Truck license or higher
• Genuine proven truck driving experience
• Australian Driver's license and own transport
• White Card & relevant tickets, HC license etc
• OHS focussed
• Demonstrate pride in work - keep vehicle clean & functioning optimally
• Some mechanical knowledge regarding trucks and maintenance
