As a core member of the leadership group in the Melbourne team your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating a multi-discipline project design team
- The systems integration of the railway systems to be utilised within design, procurement, construction and testing & commissioning and completions
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with clients on projects through developing and in-depth knowledge of our clients and their strategic requirements
- Managing all commercial aspects (contract, invoicing, budgeting and client management)
- Leading, directing, guiding, upskilling and mentoring the project team
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Degree Qualifications in electrical or electronic engineering
- At least 8 years' experience in signalling design and rail control systems
- Existing formal rail design competency approvals, or ability to attain formal approvals under Australian/New Zealand operator regulatory competency frameworks (e.g. ARA, IRSE, Queensland Rail, MTM, Rail Safety Worker Card etc.)
- Not only a successful track record in the delivery of Train control and rail signalling projects you will have experience managing and coordinating larger multi-discipline project teams
- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering and integration of railway systems
- The ability to write technical documentation/reports and excellent time management skills
- A depth of technical knowledge that underpins your reputation as a leader in the industry
- A reputation for fostering excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and the ability to influence decision making through strong and collaborative negotiation skills
