Location - Western Suburbs, Melbourne VIC

Salary - $90,000 - $140,000 + Super - Dependant on Experience

The internal recruitment team are a young and ambitious group that are passionate about the company and the civil market. They are now looking to bring on two talent acquisition advisors to be a part of the team. This opportunity will see you working on roles for different sectors of the business meaning connecting with different types of people each day, making every day a different day. On top of this, the current team have years of experience within the industry and are eager to develop new members in the team.

Role Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Advisor is part of the People & Culture team. There role supports the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers across the group. The Talent Acquisition advisor plays an integral role in attracting and engaging a broad range of candidates. This is through the planning, development and delivery of recruitment marketing, advertising and engagement activities, and by developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. More specifically, you will:

  • Liaise with the talent acquisition and HR team members to ensure smooth flow of information during the employee lifecycle
  • Liaising with our team to execute marketing strategies by posting adverts to job boards, conducting digital headhunting and using social media platforms
  • Maintain the job advertisement database including refreshing, reviewing, and posting advertisements on job boards and other sourcing channels
  • Developing effective marketing and advertising strategies to attract the best talent
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, candidate care and engagement
  • Provide general administrative support to the team - booking interviews, creating interview packs for managers,
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead and broader Human Resources team providing high level advice in relation to workforce strategies and solutions including the application of the recruitment policy and relevant legislation as it relates to recruitment
  • Utilize a range of sourcing and attraction initiatives including the proactive identification and approach of potential candidates a variety of channels

Experience within the construction industry will be highly considered, but may not be essential for the right candidate. To be successful in your application for this position you will require the following:

  • Prior experience managing full life cycle recruitment
  • A proven track record of actively headhunting as well as sourcing through a variety of different channels
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail,and ability to think outside of the box
  • Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
